myLanguage, Inc., the premier language translation and learning community, announces a more streamlined interface and more diverse text-to-speech support for it’s flagship translation application, myLanguage Pro. The latest update is available for immediate download from the Apple App Store.
“We are very lucky to have a large and active community providing us with product feedback and suggestions, allowing us to continuously improve. In myLanguage Pro v1.4, published today, we’ve done just that – a single screen translation interface and added support for text-to-speech in UK English, Spain Spanish, Belgian Dutch, Canadian French and Brazilian Portuguese,” said Andrew Lauder, chief executive officer and founder at myLanguage.
What separates myLanguage from other translation apps is that it’s not just offering translations, but also collecting data and user feedback on them. So when anyone makes a translation, they can rate how it worked or make a suggestion. myLanguage’s internationally diverse team can then select and organize the data and make the necessary improvements, while improving accuracy.
“We continue to make good progress in our goal to add support for as many of the worlds languages”, said Lauder. “We’re delighted with the active participation of our community and their support in making us the top 10 purchased travel app in 15 countries world wide! Not only that, we have crossed an incredible milestone month for our company – we’ve completed more than 5.2M unique translations at of the end of March. We expect to continue improving myLanguage Translator, and providing more fun, engaging and practical language applications for our community and partners going forward”, added Lauder.

Does this translation work off line. The problem is that I actually need it when I am on travel to the Ukraine and do not have internet and phone access at that time.

Hi Randall, Our translator apps currently require an Internet connection in order to translate your request. We recently released a new app ‘myLanguage Phrasebooks’, which does not need an Internet connection once you’ve loaded the content.
